Florence + The Machine

In 2008, Florence + The Machine came into the limelight in London with their genre-inspired soul, indie rock.

Florence, the main component and voice of the group is accompanied by the band The Machine made today by: Robert Ackroyd (guitar), Christopher Lloyd Hayden (drums), aka Isabella Summers Isabella Machine (keyboards), Mark Saunders (bass) and Tom Monger (harp).

In 2009 they released their first album, Lungs . The album was officially launched with a performance at the Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley, south-east London. The album reached number one in the United Kingdom January 25, 2010.
